Municipal Marine Construction
For towns, communities, HOAs, redevelopment organizations and public waterfront operators.
Public waterfronts carry public responsibilities. A town dock, a community pier or a redevelopment waterfront has to be procured properly, built safely around the people still using it, and documented so the owner can account for every step.
Procurement
We work within public procurement processes and carry the licensing, insurance and bonding capacity public owners require — Delaware public- and private-work contractor licensing, Maryland and Virginia licensing, Marine General Liability, P&I, Hull and Workers’ Compensation coverage, and project-specific bonding.
Public safety and access
Public waterfronts rarely close completely. We plan the work around active facilities — staging, access and sequencing that keep the public clear of the work and the facility as usable as the project allows.
Accountability and documentation
Public clients answer to boards, councils and residents. We keep the documentation that lets them: clear scope, clear communication and a record of the work as it proceeds.
What we build for public owners

- Bulkheads and retaining walls
- Rip-rap, living shorelines and offshore erosion control
